We have just finished our May production, a dark comedy called Is There Anybody There.  A shift from the usual with a small cast of three performed with minimal set.  Amazing performances and creative lighting – well done to all involved.

So we start again, looking at the autumn with a Derek Benfield comedy Beyond a Joke.  Guaranteed belly laughs and surprises – save the date now for 3rd – 5th October 2024.

Meanwhile we were pleased to have been nominated in the NODA Awards for our production of Neighbourhood Watch in May ’23.

We are the Old Buckenham Players

We are an amateur dramatic society founded in 1978 and aim to produce at least three shows a year including a January pantomime, and challenging plays in May and September.

Although we are an amateur group we aim to be professional and of a high standard in all that we do; please come along to a show – you will be assured of a warm welcome!
